"Samruk-Energy" JSC has announced the results of its annual competition for the best energy-saving and energy-efficiency proposal. A total of 12 innovative ideas were submitted for consideration.
First place was awarded to Bektemir Khabibullayev from Ekibastuz SDPP-2. His proposal focused on conserving chemically demineralized water, generating an economic benefit of 24 million tenge.
Second place was shared by Viktor Lopatin (Bogatyr Komir LLP) and Arshidin Kurbanov (Almaty Power Plants JSC). Notably, Viktor Lopatin’s proposal aimed at optimizing locomotive maintenance procedures, achieving a reduction in electricity consumption worth 23 million tenge.
Third place was awarded to Bakhtiyar Gabdullin (Ekibastuz SDPP-1 named after B. Nurzhanov LLP), Anna Ryzhkova (Ekibastuz CHP), and Nurzhan Naizabekov (Almaty Power Plants JSC).
Winners were rewarded with cash prizes, while other employees from subsidiaries who actively participated in the competition will receive certificates of appreciation from "Samruk-Energy" JSC. The event was organized by the Department of Energy Efficiency, Innovation Development, and Environmental Safety of "Samruk-Energy" JSC.
In the first 10 months of 2024, 23 innovative proposals were approved by Samruk-Energy, yielding an economic impact of approximately 190 million tenge.
