“Samruk-Energy” JSC was awarded with the diploma "For the pursuit of transparency" of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) based on operating results for 2019 year. This is an annual event for active members of the Stock Exchange, listed companies and media representatives.
“Samruk-Energy” was included in the list of two winners among listed companies of non-financial sector of KASE. The winners of the nomination "For the pursuit of transparency" were determined taking into account the mandatory, full and timely compliance with the provisions of the Exchange Rules for the publication of information. While determining the winners, the experts considered such facts as the absence of improvement notice for untimely disclosure of information and additional publications about the main activities of the company on the KASE website, which in turn reflects the "transparency" and openness of the company in the stock market of Kazakhstan.
“Our company pays special attention to investor relations, strives to be as transparent as possible to the market and thoroughly monitors the current situation in the global and local stock markets. The received KASE diploma is a direct reflection of “Samruk-Energy” teamwork, as well as the use of a systematic approach to the matter of posting information on the Stock Exchange's portal. So in 2019, the company developed and approved a new internal regulation on publishing information on the Stock Exchange’s portal,” said Sergey Lee, Co-Managing Director for Economy and Finance at “Samruk-Energy” JSC, at the award ceremony.
KASE-winning companies are leaders in the quality and quantity of disclosure precedents in addition to listing requirements, and their annual reports are on the list of best content reports. The award ceremony was held in Almaty on February 28.
