Three employees of “Samruk-Energy” JSC power generating companies in Ekibastuz city have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection (CVI). A positive diagnosis for COVID-19 was confirmed by employees of production units at “Bogatyr Komir” LLP, “Ekibastuz SDPP-1 named after Nurzhanov” LLP and “Ekibastuz SDPP-2 Plant” JSC.Three employees of “Samruk-Energy” JSC power generating companies in Ekibastuz city have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection (CVI).
A positive diagnosis for COVID-19 was confirmed by employees of production units at “Bogatyr Komir” LLP, “Ekibastuz SDPP-1 named after Nurzhanov” LLP and “Ekibastuz SDPP-2 Plant” JSC.An employee at “Bogatyr Komir” LLP was included in a list of employees with a temporary disability with SARS diagnosis, after which he was hospitalized at the infectious disease department of the city hospital.
Last weekend, an employee at ESDPP-1 reached out the central city hospital with poor health and fever. From April 21, 2020, he was put in quarantine due to a previously discovered and confirmed case of CVI in another resident of Ekibastuz city with whom he could be in contact.At ESDPP-2, after the shift, an employee felt unwell and called an ambulance, which determined that earlier he had contacted with a relative who had CVI.
To date, with respect to identified cases of disease, contact persons have been identified, all enterprises, which had confirmed cases of CVI interact with the sanitary and epidemiological service of Ekibastuz city and the city hospital, intensive sanitization of workplaces and buses for staff has been conducted. The prompt response headquarters that operate at companies are implementing the necessary actions to prevent the spread of CVI.
All enterprises of the Ekibastuz energy complex of “Samruk-Energy” JSC operate as normal and fully meet their obligations to consumers as regards the supply of electricity and the shipment of coal. For example, as of April 23, 2020, ESDPP-1 produced 6,3 bn. kWh of electricity, which is 136% compared to the same period of last year, 15,2 mln. tons of coal were shipped from “Bogatyr Komir” LLP open-pit mines (102% as compared with the same period of last year).
“Samruk-Energy” JSC companies wish a speedy recovery to all those who fell sick and remind fellow citizens of the need for strict compliance with existing quarantine measures.
