Responsibilities:
- oversee and support the Company’s participation in international councils and events (AEF, G-Global, Kazakhstan-Korean Business Council, Eurasian Forum Kazenergy, Kazakhstan-British Business Council, Kazakhstan-China Business Council, etc.);
- coordinate cooperation and engagement with Kazakhstani and foreign organizations (Kazenergy, NPP, KEA, SMK, WEC, IHS Markit, Energy Charter Secretariat, etc.);
- oversee and ensure the optimization and regulation of commercial functions (trading, sales);
- oversee and ensure trading operations related to entering new electricity and coal markets;
- oversee and ensure that subsidiaries achieve planned electricity and coal sales volumes and budgeted revenue from core activities;
- oversee and ensure the preparation and implementation of subsidiaries’ daily schedules;
- oversee, coordinate and monitor the analysis of the electricity and capacity markets and other matters related to the Company, as well as the development of relevant proposals;
- oversee the development, updating and monitoring of the Energy Transition Program and the calculation of projected GHG emissions for scenario analysis;
- ensure the analysis of electricity market models used in other countries and the identification of sustainable development solutions for the energy transition;
- organize the analysis and development of proposals to improve energy and low-carbon legislation;
- oversee, coordinate and monitor the analysis of domestic electricity and capacity markets, the coal market, and the markets of neighboring and non-neighboring countries, as well as the development of relevant proposals;
- oversee, coordinate and monitor the analysis of changes in electricity and coal market conditions;
- oversee, coordinate and monitor initiatives under the Company’s Development Strategy related to entering new markets and the development of relevant proposals.
