“Samruk-Energy” JSC Chairman of the Board, Kairat Maxutov, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the China International Water and Energy Corporation (CIWEC), Jiang Shouguo, held a video conference meeting.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the progress of the feasibility study concerning the construction of the pumped storage power plant (PSPP) in Kazakhstan and explored opportunities for broadening bilateral collaboration.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of CIWEC invited the head of Samruk-Energy to visit China to tour operational PSPPs in East China and engage in discussions regarding future partnerships.
Recalling the collaboration agreement inked on March 6, 2024 between “Samruk-Energy” JSC and the China International Water and Energy Corporation, both entities committed to working together to propel forward the project's development and implementation.
