Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, Sungat Yesimkhanov, and Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Energy” JSC, Kairat Maxutov, conducted a business visit to Ekibastuz SDPP-1.
During the visit, they reviewed the progress of the restoration work on power unit No. 1 and the overall repair campaign at the power plant. Asan Naurzgaliev, General Director of ESDPP-1 LLP, provided updates on the station's readiness for repairs, the availability of necessary inventory, and the mobilization of repair personnel. Additionally, a briefing was given on the station's preparations for the upcoming 2024-2025 heating season.
Following the visit, specific directives were issued to the station management, particularly regarding power unit No. 1. These instructions included ensuring no delays in installing the turbofeed pump and commencing start-up operations of the power unit as scheduled.
