Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Fund's Management Board, met with Sergey Dregval, CEO of PJSC Inter RAO.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the timelines for the construction projects of three combined heat and power plants (CHPs) in Kazakhstan, located in Kokshetau, Semey, and Ust-Kamenogorsk. They also explored ways to expedite the completion of these facilities.
These projects are being implemented under an intergovernmental agreement between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, which was signed on April 17, 2024.
