The transfer was initiated by Akimat of Ekibastuz city. Samruk-Energy, through its subsidiary Energy Solution Center LLP, will oversee operations at the facility.
Kairat Maxutov, Chairman of the Board at “Samruk-Energy” JSC, conducted a meeting with the plant's management team, introducing Aidarbek Kystaubayev as the General Director of Energy Solution Center LLP along with key deputies responsible for production, finance, and supply.
Samruk-Energy's head highlighted Ekibastuz CHP's plans for this year, which include maintenance works on several power boilers and auxiliary equipment.
After the meeting, Kairat Maxutov provided specific directives to enhance preparations for the upcoming heating season and the scheduled maintenance activities.
Established in 1956, Ekibastuz CHP has an installed electric capacity of 12 MW and a thermal capacity of 750 Gcal/h. The CHP is responsible for fully providing heat to Ekibastuz city.
