More than 20 students-power engineers completed dual training at Almaty CHP-1 in 2024

Dual training course for young turbine and boiler operators was completed at Almaty Power Plants (APP).

This year, 22 power engineer- students completed their training at CHP-1 named after B. Orazbayev.

The company places great emphasis on the professional training of future specialists and conducts two training courses for operators-inspectors on turbine and boiler equipment. Each course consists of 160 hours.

Dual training means that students acquire practical knowledge in real production settings while simultaneously receiving theoretical education at their university.

Notably, there were many young women among power engineer students.

"When we arrived at the station, we were asked, 'Do you really have girls here?'" shared Janel Mukhitdinova, a third-year student majoring in "Energy Audit and Energy Management," with a smile.

Nazym Bisakhan, a third-year student at AUES, noted the professionalism and responsiveness of the station's staff.

"I realized that producing thermal and electrical energy is not easy. It is a complex but very interesting process. We were fortunate to have an instructor who explained and showed us everything in detail," Nazym shared her impressions.

Altinbek Doszhan, a third-year student in the "Thermal Power Engineering" department at AUPET, admitted to being impressed by both the workshop and the boiler itself.

"It was very large, which was impressive. We saw many other workshops. After I graduate from university, I would like to work at CHP-1 to gain practical experience," noted Altinbek Doszhan.
