The Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Energy” JSC Kairat Maxutov held an extended meeting with subsidiaries and affiliates on the prevention and control of workplace injuries. The issues of implementing action plans to improve the culture of occupational safety were considered.
The top managers of “Bogatyr Komir” LLP, “Alatau Zharyk Company” JSC and “Almaty Power Plants” JSC made reports at the meeting. They informed about the results of investigations into accidents and the measures taken.
The Head of Samruk-Energy noted the extremely critical state of labor safety and health. At the same time, the attention of those present was focused on the inadequate control and organization of occupational safety, low executive discipline on the part of responsible persons.
Following the meeting, Kairat Maksutov gave a number of instructions on taking the necessary measures to improve working conditions and ensure strict compliance with workplace safety rules.
