The power generation volume of the Samruk-Energy Group of companies for January-February 2025, based on operational data, reached 7,972 million kWh, marking a 5% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The volume of electricity transmission and sales also grew, with transmission increasing by 16% and sales by 23% compared to the same period last year. The rise in electricity transmission volumes is linked to the development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the expansion of existing enterprises in Almaty city and Almaty region.
Additionally, coal shipments from “Bogatyr Komir” LLP have increased. In the first two months of 2025, a record 8,454 thousand tons of coal were delivered to customers, the highest amount in the last 10 years. Compared to the same period last year, coal shipments grew by 8%.
