On the eve of Victory Day, employees of Samruk-Energy honored their veterans with deep reverence and gratitude.
At CHP-1 named after B. Orazbaev, a solemn event was held to mark the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Following tradition, the plant’s employees laid flowers at the Victory Obelisk on the premises. The youth group of the power plant, together with union representatives, visited home front veterans Praskovya Aksenova and Alexey Korobkin.
Employees of Almaty CHP- 3 extended congratulations to home front workers, including Valentina Semenovna Maksimenko, who turned 94.
Employees of Bogatyr Komir LLP also visited veterans and home front workers, expressing profound gratitude for the peaceful skies above and presenting them with commemorative medals.
The team of Alatau Zharyk Company JSC also expressed gratitude to veterans and home front workers ahead of Victory Day. Among them was veteran Kambar Amirovich Sarsenov, who served on the front lines during the war in a rifle regiment of the Kalinin, Baltic, and Belarusian fronts. For his courage and bravery, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star, Orders of Glory III and II Degrees, and other medals.
Employees of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Shulbinsk HPPs held a traditional volunteer initiative for Victory Day to support World War II veterans, former child prisoners of concentration camps, and survivors of the Leningrad blockade. Using voluntary contributions collected by employees of both stations, approximately 500 kWh of electricity was covered for all individuals in these categories residing in East Kazakhstan and Abay regions. Financial aid was provided to 30 families.
The veterans expressed heartfelt gratitude to the employees of Samruk-Energy JSC companies for their attention, care, and remembrance, which unites generations and inspires continued efforts for peace and prosperity.
