Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy joint-stock company, Kairat Maxutov, held a meeting with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, led by Şule Kılıc, Director, Head of Energy Eurasia.
Discussions centered on Kazakhstan’s rapidly evolving energy sector and the critical role played by Samruk-Energy in driving this transformation. Key topics included the development of new green generation capacity, the planned gasification of CHP- 2 in Almaty, and the expansion of energy infrastructure to support long-term growth.
“Samruk-Energy Group has maintained long-standing business relations with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, one of the world’s leading international development finance institutions. In the context of the company’s dynamic growth, further strengthening of our strategic partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is of particular importance”, - emphasized Kairat Maxutov.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their joint efforts in implementing a number of key projects of Samruk-Energy Group.
