During his visit to the construction site, Nurlan Zhakupov held a project update meeting with the management of Samruk-Energy JSC and APP JSC, where they provided a report on the current stage of construction and the delivery of key equipment.
Construction and installation works are ongoing, including the delivery of technological equipment and preparation of the plant’s infrastructure.
Following the visit, Nurlan Zhakupov issued a series of instructions, emphasizing the need to strictly adhere to the project schedule and ensure the timely commissioning of the facility.
After the reconstruction, the plant’s installed capacity will reach 544 MW of electricity and 160 Gcal/hour of thermal energy. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in December 2026.
