Samruk-Energy is continuing the systematic rollout of digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies across the group’s operating assets.
At Ekibastuz SDPP-1, the company is implementing a predictive diagnostics system designed to improve equipment reliability and reduce the risk of unplanned outages. The new approach will enable early detection of abnormalities and potential defects, support timely maintenance planning, and minimize unplanned downtime.
The system uses both historical and real-time data collected from vibration, acoustic, and other monitoring and control systems. These tools track changes in equipment performance and make it possible to predict potential failures before emergency situations occur.
The AI-based solution is expected to:
- reduce emergency shutdowns and unplanned repairs;
- minimize equipment downtime;
- optimize maintenance and repair costs;
- improve the reliability of generating assets and the efficiency of production processes.
The project is currently being implemented in phases, with plans to scale the solution across other generation facilities within the group.
