The XI Spartakiad, a corporate multi-sport competition of Samruk-Energy Group of Companies, was held in Almaty, bringing together approximately 600 employees from the Company and its subsidiaries.
At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC, Kairat Maxutov, delivered a welcoming address, emphasizing the importance of sport in strengthening team spirit and fostering a drive for high performance.
“Supporting an active and healthy lifestyle among employees is an important part of Samruk-Energy JSC’s social policy. We will continue to create conditions for the development of corporate culture and the promotion of sport within our teams”,- said Kairat Maxutov.
Honored guests of the opening ceremony included well-known Kazakhstani athletes, multiple Olympic medalists and World Championship winners.
The competition program featured 13 disciplines, including football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, esports, arm wrestling, table tennis, chess, athletics, as well as traditional national sports.
Following intense competition, in the overall team standings, first place was awarded to Alatau Zharyk Company JSC, second place went to Almaty Power Plants JSC, and Ekibastuz SDPP-1 LLP secured third place.
