From January to September 2026, Samruk-Energy Group companies generated 29.6 bn.kWh of electricity, exceeding the target by 2.9% and increasing output by 1% compared with the same period in 2025.
Thermal power plants made the largest contribution to this result, generating 24.7 bn. kWh of electricity, 3% above target. Ekibastuz SDPP-1 generated 18 bn. kWh of electricity, exceeding its target by 4%.
Samruk-Energy’s hydropower plants generated 4.64 bn. kWh of electricity, also exceeding the target by 4%. Among the hydropower plants, Shardarinsk HPP and Ust-Kamenogorsk HPP recorded the strongest results, achieving 108% of their targets.
