Gulzhan Islamova has been appointed as the General Director of "AlmatyEnergoSbyt" LLP by the decision of "Samruk-Energy" JSC Board of Directors. The former head of the company, Yedil Kopenov, has left the position to take up another role within Samruk-Energy group of companies.
The new General Director was introduced to the staff of "AlmatyEnergoSbyt" LLP by the Managing Director for GR, Development, and IT of "Samruk-Energy" JSC, Elena Ivchenko.
Gulzhan Islamova graduated from the Zhetysu Economic Institute with a degree in Accounting and Audit. She began her career in 2009 as an operator at the district sales office in Almaty for LLP "AlmatyEnergoSbyt".
Over the years, she has worked as a leading specialist, chief specialist of the sales service for the Almaty region, and chief specialist of the central sales and energy resources supply service.
From 2015 to 2023, she served as the head of district energy sales offices No. 4, No. 3, and No. 7 in Almaty.
Prior to her appointment as General Director, Gulzhan Islamova was the Managing Director for Sales at "AlmatyEnergoSbyt" LLP.
