During a recent visit to the People’s Republic of China, Kairat Maxutov, Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Energy” JSC and He Xi, Chairman of the Board of China Power International Holding, signed an agreement to develop a 1 GW wind power plant equipped with an energy storage system in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The agreement outlines the collaborative efforts in the project’s development and coordination of activities for its implementation. During the meeting, both parties emphasized the need for joint efforts to expedite project initiatives and discussed the integration of this significant renewable energy facility into Kazakhstan's energy system.
