The Chairman of the Board of “Samruk-Energy” JSC, Kairat Maxutov, held a regular meeting on occupational safety and health issues. He noted that significant progress had been made in this area this year.
Specialists underwent training in international programs such as NEBOSH and IOSH, the automated system "Safe Production" was implemented, and the "Stop Cards" procedure, the electronic system for medical examinations (ESME), video tokens, and helmets with cameras for operational personnel were introduced.
The Head of Samruk-Energy emphasized that next year, there will be large-scale efforts aimed at consistently reducing accidents among station employees and stressed the need to increase spending on ensuring occupational safety. He also instructed the responsible structural units to develop a comprehensive plan to achieve zero workplace injuries.
