Samruk-Energy hosted a festive event to celebrate the Spring Equinox, a symbol of nature’s renewal and the beginning of the new year. To mark the occasion, employees of the company wore traditional Kazakh attire, accessorized with jewelry in national style. A festive yurt, decorated with intricate patterns and traditional decorative items, was set up in the hall.
Kairat Maxutov, the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy, warmly congratulated his colleagues on this special day, highlighting the significance of Nauryz as a symbol of spiritual renewal, the richness of Kazakh culture, and the traditions of the people.
A key moment in the celebration was the performance of the túsaukeser ceremony. In accordance with the ancient Kazakh custom, Kairat Maxutov untied the symbolic knot on the foot of the one-year-old daughter of one of the employees, offering blessings for a long and happy life.
The celebration continued with national songs and dances. An engaging quiz on Kazakh customs and traditions was organized for the employees, creating a lively atmosphere and bringing joy to all participants.
The event concluded with a master class on toǵyzqumalaq and asyk atu, timed to coincide with National Sports Day.
