As part of the second Central Asia – China Summit, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC, Kairat Maxutov, held a meeting with Zhang Hongmei, Chairman of the Board of SEPCO1. The parties discussed the status of ongoing projects and potential areas for future cooperation.
In particular, the discussion focused on the implementation of the project "Modernization of Almaty CHP-2 including the minimization of environmental impact”. Samruk-Energy management expressed full commitment to supporting the resolution of current issues to ensure the timely execution of the gasification project for CHP-2 in Almaty.
As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to intensify efforts on the ongoing project and to explore further opportunities for long-term cooperation.
