An information and outreach meeting dedicated to discussing the key provisions of the draft Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at Samruk-Energy.
Employees of the Company’s subsidiary organizations also joined the event online.
The speakers included Zhakyp Khairushev, a member of the Political Council of the Nura district branch of the AMANAT party and an honored power engineer, as well as Zhamaladen Ibragimov, Professor at L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The speakers noted that the draft Constitution is aimed at strengthening the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms, while also reinforcing the country’s energy security and promoting the responsible use of natural resources.
Participants raised questions and exchanged views in an open dialogue.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Zhakyp Khairushev encouraged participants to take an active civic role and participate in the upcoming referendum.
