A meeting on occupational safety was held under the chairmanship of the Head of Samruk-Energy, Kairat Maxutov, with the participation of senior executives from its subsidiaries and affiliates. Opening the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy emphasized that occupational safety remains an absolute priority for the company and requires systematic, consistent, and proactive work at all levels of management.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of the 2026 zero injury action plan, the results of the month-long occupational safety campaign, audit findings, as well as digitalization initiatives and the introduction of an AI assistant in occupational safety and health processes. Special attention was given to corrective measures following audits conducted by Samruk-Kazyna.
Executives from Alatau Zharyk Company and Almaty Power Plants reported on progress in addressing identified findings and on measures being taken to strengthen operational control at production facilities.
Following the meeting, specific instructions were issued aimed at improving occupational safety performance, strengthening preventive measures, and further developing a strong safety culture across the group of companies.
