As part of Samruk-Energy group’s HR Policy Implementation Plan for 2023–2031, an annual meeting was held between members of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) of Samruk-Energy JSC Board of Directors and high-potential employees included in the company’s succession plan and talent pool.

This year’s central theme was Developing strategic thinking, a priority skill for professionals working in a fast-evolving and highly competitive energy sector. In the context of global shifts across the industry—including the transition to sustainable energy sources, digitalization, and climate challenges—the ability to design and execute long-term strategies has become essential for lasting success.

During the event, participants engaged in practical tasks, interactive exercises, and case studies aimed at strengthening strategic thinking capabilities. Discussions emphasized the importance of forward-looking decision-making amid rapidly changing technologies and energy markets.
